Adams traveller xylo

Below are examples of four bags designed for the Adams traveller xylo frame incorporating portability, ease of use, and protection for your instrument.

Case 1

The notes are layered between foam, which is lined with fleece for softness, and protection. The side flaps Velcro together, then the bag is rolled/folded and secured with quick release buckles. The bag is provided with a carry handle and shoulder strap.

Case 2: Resonators

The foam and soft fleece will protect your resonators from general scrapes and knocks. The bag is divided into two so that they do not touch each other. The bag is fastened by a zip and is provided with a handle and shoulder strap.

Case 3: Frame ends

This bag contains all four legs, both ‘cross’ pieces, and the smaller end top piece (which is left attached to the cross piece for convenience). Each section of the frame has a separate compartment to avoid scratches. The bag is fastened by zip and comes with a handle and shoulder strap.

Case 4: Frame bars

All of these frame pieces have a separate pocket, which they slide into and are secured by a Velcro flap. The bag is then rolled/folded and fastened with quick release buckles. The bag is provided with a carry handle and shoulder strap.

Five Octave Adams Marimba Cases for Adams Marimba

There are 9 cases in the set, these comprise of:

2 note roll bags

Give great protection to your valuable bars and roll up so that they are compact and easy to carry with either the handle or shoulder strap.

2 resonator bags

Takes the upper section of resonators in bags that are easy to use and offer protection from many bumps and scratches.

2 Bass resonator bags

Takes the Bass resonator sections and are similar in design to the upper section cases

1 legs and height adjuster case

which takes the four legs with wheels on in individual pockets, and the two ‘x’ pieces that offer the height adjustment. The small end piece of the frame also goes into this case, and should be left attached to the ‘x’ piece.

1 note support rails case

which takes the four note supporting rails/beams in individual pockets that then closes and is rolled up to form a convienent case for carrying.

1 frame case

Takes the two long metal support bars, and the large end piece that the support rails for the notes attach to. These three pieces of frame fit into individual pockets for excellent protection.

Extras

Whilst your marimba is assembled you might want to protect both of the ends in case it is moved around different rooms, so there are end frame protectors available.
